Asian Star was fifth in a fair bumper at Cheltenham on debut and bumped into a smart one at Southwell next time. Making her hurdling debut here, this race certainly looks easier and her pedigree suggests there will be lots more to come now going over obstacles.
Izipizi had no chance with the impressive winner when second in a fair race at Newbury last time out but was well clear of third that day. She appears to have lots of ability and is likely to be getting off the mark sooner rather than later.

Bonnie’s Boy has filled the runner-up spot in each of his three starts to date. Richard Fahey’s gelding wasn’t beaten far in his last couple and the switch to handicaps may help. Time will tell how lenient this opening mark is but he’s definitely worth giving a go on handicap debut.

Lake Forest won the Gimcrack as a two-year-old and was runner-up in the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot this term. He drops into Listed company which provides a good opportunity to return to winning ways and the extra furlong should suit.

Saariselka clearly needed the experience when third of five on debut at Ascot and put in a much more professional performance to get off the mark here over 6f next time. She shaped as if this step up in trip will suit here and there should be loads of improvement still to come.

Star Of Mehmas won nicely at Lingfield in August and the runner-up has boosted the form by winning and then placing in a valuable sales race. Richard Hughes’ filly followed up in good style at Wolverhampton and looks ready for this step up in grade.
Dunamase looked very professional when getting off the mark at Kempton last month and the runner-up went on to win its next start well. That form appears to be rock-solid with that in mind and he’s a useful prospect to go to war with.
Woodhay Wonder has been consistent in some very competitive handicaps and her mark continues to climb as a result. She won a couple of valuable races as a two-year-old and looks well up to competing at this level.
